Rennie Two Waters Bird's Eye view
On the southern tip of Vancouver Island lies a place of great beauty, with landscape that reflects glacial influences from the past. A plethora of natural elements have created its identity, including coastal forests, the Coburg Peninsula, Esquimalt Lagoon and the Olympic Peninsula Mountains.

We’ve created abundant opportunities for exploring and interacting with the environment, including established walking trails that connect with nearby communities.

We believe that community matters. That when we come together, we can achieve great things. We believe we should be responsible stewards of the land, and treat the earth with respect. Two Waters was designed to honor these beliefs. We celebrate and respond to the land’s natural ecology, to create a community that interacts with the environment. It’s a new vision of community.

Two Waters is an ecologically functional and sustainable environment that can support a thriving and growing community.

Two Waters is designed as an open space network that celebrates and responds to the region’s natural ecological features. We’ve created abundant opportunities for exploring and interacting with the environment, including established walking trails that connect with nearby communities, raised boardwalks and viewing platforms, and community hubs. There are even opportunities for informal play, whether it’s rocks or driftwood for climbing, or stone slabs placed through the wetland.

Landscaping reflects and complements the native forest ecology, with riparian species and pollinator plants.

A natural riparian corridor runs through Two Waters, linking with the ecosystems of Royal Roads Forest and Coburg Peninsula Park.
